Refrigerator and freezer
- Keep interior vents clear and check that doors close completely.
- Clean accessible condenser areas only as the owner manual directs.
- Move food to safe cold storage if temperatures rise unexpectedly.
Washer
- Use the detergent type and amount specified for the machine.
- Avoid overloading and inspect accessible supply hoses for visible damage.
- Leave the door or lid positioned as the manual recommends between loads.
Dryer
- Clean the lint screen before every load.
- Confirm the exterior vent flap opens while the dryer runs.
- Stop use if drying time rises sharply or the appliance, cord, or plug smells hot.
Dishwasher
- Clean the removable filter and spray arms on the manufacturer schedule.
